Bali School Project: A New Library for SD 3 Mekarsari School

Sangora Education Foundation generously funded a joint charitable Bali School Project between the Swan Valley Rotary Club in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Bali-Denpasar to rebuild a library at SD 3 Mekarsari School. Thanks to small donations from other contributors new books, books cases and desks were also purchased for the new library.

The official opening was a very special event attended by the students, teachers, Rotarians from both both Swan Valley and Denpasar Clubs, some student sponsors, local dignitaries and the Bali Post Newspaper.

The new library building was shrouded in a picture of the old building which was removed as part of the ceremony to reveal the transformed structure.

Guests at the official opening were treated to Balinese dances performed by young girls and boys.
